She took her first lessons on colour and drawing by her father, Filis Kentarchos, a corfiot water colour artist. She went on with studies at the Art School of Corfu. Took her degree from the Department of Painting of the “Academia di Belle Arti di Napoli”, Italy (1993) and graduated with distinetion from the laboratory of Professor G. Sgambati.
